OUR FATHER
Our Father, who art in heaven; hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses s we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptations, but deliver us from evil.

PRAYER FOR FORGIVENESS OF SINS
O My God, I am heartily sorry for having offended you. I hate all my sins, because they offend you, my God who are all good, and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help or Your grace, to sin no more and to avoid all occasions of sin.

PRAYER OF A STUDENT
Oh God, from whom all wisdom, and knowledge come; help me to do my studies well. Open my mind to the Truth; make me diligent and constant in the pursuit of learning. Give me an attentive mind Lord; keen and alert, so that I can concentrate and grasp my lessons. Give me an eager mind Lord, to learn something new everyday, and may my aim always be to pierce, the veil of the visible world, to reach you, O invisible, eternal, unchangeable truth.

PRAYER FOR THE NATION
Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high; where knowledge is free; where the world has not been broken up into fragments by narrow domestic walls; where words come out from the depth of truth; where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfection; where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way into the dreary desert sand of dead habit; where the mind is led forward by Thee into ever-widening thought and action; into that heaven of freedom, my Father, let my country awake.
